2016/2017 Season:
Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2

Michael Francis, conductor
Master Chorale of Tampa Bay
Anna Kate Mackle, harp
Anita Krause, mezzo-soprano
James K. Bass, baritone

Debussy: Danse Sacrée et Danse Profane
Beethoven: Symphony No. 2
Duruflé: Requiem

The playful power of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 is set against the soft, entrancing tones of French composer Duruflé’s Requiem, featuring the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay. … Despite its name, there’s nothing wicked about Debussy’s Danse Sacrée et Danse Profane. It’s light and beautiful, with TFO Principal Harp Anna Kate Mackle as the soloist. Michael Francis conducts.
