In honor of The Florida Orchestra’s 50th anniversary year, the Florida Orchestra Guild/St. Petersburg will hold an Afternoon Tea on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the St. Petersburg Woman’s Club, 40 Snell Isle Boulevard NE, St. Petersburg. All proceeds from the Tea will benefit the Orchestra.
The catered event will feature a Parade of Hats and a program on “Taking Tea for Business and Pleasure” by Kay Leonard, Protocol Officer for the Joint Special Operations University at MacDill Air Force Base. She received her professional certificate from the Protocol School of Washington, DC, including an advanced class taught by the school’s founder. Dignitaries and high-ranking officials from around the world, for whom formalities are necessary, are regular visitors to MacDill.
