2013/2014 Rock Concerts Series
In a celebration of the rebel spirit of classic rockers and great symphonic composers, who broke the rules in search of new sounds and self expression, The Florida Orchestra salutes some of these innovators with three symphonic rock concerts at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg. Subscribe to our Rock Concerts series and receive two “Be Our Guest” drink coupons* for each concert. In addition, facility fees and postage and handling are waived for Rock subscribers. Rock series packages are $225 or $165 for all three concerts. Single tickets to individual concerts go on sale in August.
* Includes beer, wine and soda. Must be 21 to consume alcoholic beverages.

Classical Mystery Tour

After their sold-out performances with The Florida Orchestra, Classical Mystery Tour returns for a night of 30 Beatles hits, including Penny Lane, Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, Hey Jude, Strawberry Fields Forever, I Saw Her Standing There and many more, all in a show hailed for their spot-on mannerisms, witty stage banter, note-perfect arrangements, Fab Four vocal harmonies and costume changes reflecting The Beatles break-through periods of creativity. The Music of Pink Floyd

Celebrate the 40th anniversary of Dark Side of the Moon with this tribute to Pink Floyd. With retina-dazzling rock concert lighting, The Florida Orchestra joins forces with a full rock band to perform such timeless hits as Money, Learning to Fly and Comfortably Numb, along with music from The Wall. Brent Havens conducts.
The Music of The Eagles

With five number one singles, six Grammys and six number one albums, revisit the soaring sounds of The Eagles. In a tribute to their amazing vocal harmonies, veteran rock vocalists Terry Brock, Glenn DeLaune and John Hines, along with their band, take flight with such Eagles hits as Heartache Tonight, Take It Easy, Desperado, Tequila Sunrise, Witchy Woman, One of These Nights, Hotel California and more.
