- As outlined in The Florida Orchestra’s Integrated Media Agreement, the basic parameters for video/audio coverage of The Florida Orchestra by members of the media are as follows:
24-HOUR ADVANCE NOTICE: Per the musicians’ contract, they must be notified at least 24 hours in advance that broadcast media may be covering a given rehearsal or concert.
STAFF ESCORT: Members of media must be escorted by orchestra staff member while covering an orchestra rehearsal or performance.
RECORDING: No more than 30 minutes of any service (rehearsal or concert performance) can be recorded
BROADCASTING: The length of the broadcast news segment is, of course, determined by the media source; however, there are restrictions as to how many minutes of continuous music being performed by the orchestra can be featured:
• No more than 3 minutes from any one work or movement.
• No more than a total of 5 minutes collectively from multiple works.
ONLINE: The given news source can post the news clip featuring the orchestra in rehearsal or performance on its website for up to 21 days, at which point it needs to be removed.
