Kersten Rodau returns to Orchestra Hall following her appearances in MASS and Peer Gynt. Most recently, she appeared as Emma Goldman in Park Square Theater's production of Ragtime. Locally she's been seen in H.M.S. Pinafore, She Loves Me, Pirates of Penzance, A Christmas Carol and Sweeney Todd at the Guthrie Theater; Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Misérables, The Musical of Musicals, Forbidden Broadway, Nunset Boulevard, Oklahoma! and The Sound of Music at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres; Broadway Songbook Series-The Words and Music of Irving Berlin, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, and A Grand Night for Singing at Ordway Center; Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris at North Star Opera; Bravo Broadway! at Opera Roanoke; and Funny Girl at Bloomington Civic Theatre. She received her bachelor’s of music in opera vocal performance at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. .
