TFO has released its recording of music by Frederick Delius! The recording includes English composer Frederick Delius’ Sea Drift and Appalachia: Variations on an Old Slave Song, both of which feature baritone Leon Williams and The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay. Both works were recorded “live and in concert” during this past season’s Tampa Bay Times Masterworks program “Celebrate Delius” at the two performances at the Progress Energy Center for the Arts Mahaffey Theater on January 6 and 7, 2012, and will be released on the Naxos label, the world’s largest independent distributor of classical music recordings.
