![]() TAMPA, FL -- The Florida Orchestra (TFO) announced the programming today for its 2007/08 Progress Energy Masterworks season under the leadership of Music Director Stefan Sanderling. Of this season, Sanderling said, The Masterworks series is available in packages of 14, 10, 7 and 5 concerts with series subscription packages at the early-bird prices (now through April 20, 2007) ranging from $672 for the 14-concert Imperial series down to $125 for the 5-concert Discovery series. Among the various subscriber benefits are free flexible ticket exchanges and a free friend voucher to invite a friend to one of a selection of concerts during the season.
Masterworks subscribers who choose the 14-concert Imperial series also receive a free bonus concert featuring Pinchas Zukerman as violinist and conductor in a program of Elgar, Mozart and Schubert; a 40th-anniversary $40-gift certificate to apply toward purchasing additional tickets this season; and a waiver of the hall facility fees on their series tickets, which can be a savings of up to $28 per series.
The Progress Energy Masterworks programs are performed in the three principal cities of the Tampa Bay area: Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (Carol Morsani Hall or Ferguson Hall) in Tampa, Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater and the Mahaffey Theater at the Progress Energy Center in St. Petersburg.
